Two's Complement Conversion

This is a really cool application I wrote for Architecture and Compilers at Willamette University. The program reads in two numbers and converts them to their respective two's complement. Twos complement is a method used for representing negative numbers in binary. The two numbers are then added together. Through the magic of two's complement, the resulting binary number is converted to decimal and is the correct sum of the original two numbers. I really liked writing this program because it reminded me just how simple computers are at their core.
